1. The English language is constantly evolving. Traditional grammatical rules are always being bent and broken, and so are effective methods of communication. Writing will always be an act of pretense and craftsmanship.
  2. How you articulate your words and ideas when writing is everything in effective prose communication. The writer should consider the readers perspective in regards to what they want to accomplish with their writing. The way in which you write affects the way the information is absorbed by the reader.
  3. To be an effective business writer requires clear, concise, and direct active voice free of vague unnecessary prose or filler words.
